Composting of Wasted vegetable via Composting Machine in Pokhara

A composting machine is a mechanical device designed to accelerate the natural decomposition of organic waste materials into nutrient-rich compost in 24 hours. It operates on the principles of aerobic decomposition, where microorganisms break down organic matter in the presence of oxygen. The goal is to create a controlled environment that enhances the composting process, resulting in faster and more efficient decomposition compared to traditional, passive composting methods.

PDE has supplied a Composting Machine of capacity 50 kg per day in Farmer Vegetable Market operated by Pokhara Metropolitan City, in Birauta, Pokhara. The machine is used to compost the wasted vegetable and fruit in the market.

Liquid Nitrogen Plant installed in Geta Dhangadhi

A liquid nitrogen plant is a facility that produces liquid nitrogen (LN2) through the process of Stirling cryogenic cycle. Liquid nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless cryogenic liquid that is extremely cold, with a boiling point of -196°C. It is commonly used in various industrial, medical, and scientific applications. 

PDE has supplied a Liquid Nitrogen Plant to Directorate of Livestock and Fishery Development, Sudurpachhim Province in Geta, Dhangadhi on 27 April 2023. The capacity of the plant is 5 liters per day. The use of the liquid Nitrogen is for preserving biological sample of semen of high quality breed for long time.
